Mission Statement

Recently I was asked why I don't show my work in the many craft and art fairs that go on in my city.  I had to put some thought into what held me back from doing that.  

I finally realized, I don't paint for the money, I paint to bring joy to others and myself.  There is a joy in seeing a painting come together in such a way it brings to life an animal someone loves.  That is why I do not show my work at art shows.  I don't want to paint, simply to paint; I want what I paint to touch those I paint for and bring them joy. 

That is not to say my paintings are free, I charge a nominal and fair fee which of course is more if a person wants a custom frame made.
